The Empty Quarter – Rub’ al Khali – desert seen from Tal Moreeb, one of the highest dunes in the world, considered to be the tallest one in the United Arab Emirates.
The Rub’ al Khali – a part of Arabian Desert – 1,000 km long, 500 km wide, with thae area of 650,000 km2, covering parts of Saudi Arabia, Oman, UAE and Yemen.
Tal Moreeb and Rub’ al Khali are filming locations for many movies: Dune (2020), 6 Underground (2019), Race 3 (2018), Furious 7 (2015).
