My favourite flowers? All of them! All time favourite: violets – for the smell, delicacy and abundance (no good photo so far…). However below you can find honorable mentions:

• for the smell: lily of the valley, peonies and roses;
• for the delicacy: bluebells, pasque flowers (and their ‘cousins’ hellebores) and eustomas;
• for the abundance: lupine, hydrangeas and cherry blossom.
