Around the world in 182 days: Portugal

In Portugal we find the world, in the world we find Portugal. Pavilion of Portugal at EXPO 2020 in Dubai, UAE.

A world in one country. Portugal will highlight the human spirit through the diversity and inclusiveness of its people, reflect the culture of creativity and innovation, and reveal an ecosystem of great opportunities.

Quick facts – Portugal Pavilion:

  • Destination. Portugal was voted both the World and Europe’s Leading Destination at the 2019 World Travel Awards.
  • Expats. The Expat Insider 2019 survey ranked Portugal as the best country in Europe for expats, and the third best worldwide.
  • Peace. Portugal is the third most peaceful country in the world according to the Global Peace Index 2019.
  • It has been 500 years since Fernão de Magalhães began the famous exhibition that would discover the connection between the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, and prove that the world was spherical. The Portuguese navigator’s journey is an early example of globalisation that brought people, cultures and knowledge together. Portuguese is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world. 1. Looks like a great expo. I’m not surprised at Portugals growth and becoming a top travel destination. The culture is so welcoming. The food, fantastic. And the beaches (I remember when they were untouched) inviting.

I loved your all your photos, the art were favorites.
