Around the world in 182 days: Czech Republic

Spring ambiance and trailblazing sustainability initiatives. Pavilion of Czech Republic (Czechia) at EXPO 2020 in Dubai, UAE.

November 2021

Czech spring. Be impressed as fertile land is created in the barren conditions of the desert by extracting water vapour from the air. This feat of technology uses only solar energy and Czech innovations.

In the Czech Republic (Czechia) Pavilion:

  • A rotating exhibition that will delve into the cultural side of Czech Republic.
  • Subfossil Forest – perminelized oak tree trunks, mined in North Moravia, 6500 years old.
  • World record: largest milled coin ever created, 130 kg of gold, worth 10 million USD, only 1 piece – not for sale, created for 100th anniversary of Czech currency.
  • A meeting room where business delegates can convene.
  • A restaurant showcasing Czech cuisine.
