Female jockeys 🙂 about camels – not sure 😉 But female and male camels race separately (and apparently female camels for often). 🙂

Saw something recently about small boys being replaced by robo-jockeys – remote controlled by the owners in cars driving alongside the camel race track.

Yes, for some time already the small robot jockeys are being used. I have seen that in UAE and in Qatar. Here you can see some photos (of the robot-jockeys and the cars 🙂 ) from UAE:

That Female Camel Racing was a special event – it was the first time the race only for women jockeys was organized. In Dubai, there is a small group of women passionate about camel racing (as a jockeys) and it is pretty cool 😀
