Mars on October 13, 2020 – fully illuminated since it is in opposition (Earth is in between Mars and the Sun) and near its closest point to the Earth (the closest point was on October 6). Mars will shine bright in the sky till beginning of November.
The next such bright Mars we will be able to observe in 15 years…

Yes, the photo is mine 🙂 Nikon D7000, lens: Tamron 70-200mm, tripod, ISO 100, f/2.8, 1/3s (plus cropping a lot in post-procesing – the photo is now quite small).
Hope you will be able to see the bright Mars – there is still some time left 🙂
