Dubai Mall – the world’s second largest shopping mall (by total area – 502,000 m²) and 26. by  gross leasable area. Opened in May 2009, it used to be the world’s largest shopping mall and in 2011 – the most visited builiding (54 million people). The Dubai Mall is a part of Downtown Dubai complex and includes more than 1200 shops (and among them – the biggest candy shop in the world) and apart from that:

• art in the mall: indoor (Waterfall, Wild King) and outdoor (Dandelions, Love Me),
• Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo,
• Dubai Dino,
• traditional souk,
• next to the mall: Burj Khalifa and Dubai Fountain.
