It is called the Worm Moon, the Crow Moon and the Sap Moon. In the Northern Hemisphere, with the warmer weather, the earth (and the eartworms) is slowly preparing for spring. In Soutern Hemisphere this Full Moon is known as the Full Harvest Moon.
A Supermoon or Perigee Full Moon is a Full Moon that occurs near or coincides with perigee, the point in the orbit at which the Moon is nearest to the Earth. Therefore Supermoons appear larger and brighter than usual Full Moons .
