Húsavík

Húsavík / Husavik – the biggest town in Norðurþing municipality, located on the north coast (Skjálfandi bay) of Iceland, on Diamond Circle route in Northeastern Region. The whale watching capital of Europe. The name of the town meas the Bay of Houses – the first settlers of the island come prodably here.
