Hverir – a geothermal area (one of the biggest in Iceland), at the foot of the Námafjall mountain, with boiling mudpools and steaming fumaroles, emitting sulfuric gas. Located in volcanism area on the crossroad of Ring Road and Diamond Circle route in Northeastern Region of Iceland.
