Powązki Cemetery, a historic necropolis in Warsaw, Poland, the burial place of more than 1 milion people, among them there are many prominent individuals (there is ‘Aleja Zasłużonych’ – the ‘Avenue of the Distinguished’). It is one of the oldest cemeteries in Warsaw and one of the most visited on All Saints’ Day (1st November).
