Museum of the Romanian Peasant

Muzeul Național al Ţăranului Român – The National Museum of the Romanian Peasant in Bucharest, Romania, presents the wide collection of costumes, icons, ceramics. The museum received many prices, among them the title “European Museum of the Year” for 1996.
The museum’s permanent gallery is closed (March 2017) due to building renovation, however it is possible to visit temporary exhibitions.
