Public Gardens

Public Gardens (Bagh-e-Aam, “public garden” in Urdu) – the oldest park in Hyderabad, founded in 1846 by the Nizam of Hyderabad. With several museums (Telangana State Archaeology Museum, Contemporary Art Museum), The Telangana Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council buildings, a lake, a mosque and Jubilee Hall (a royal palace built in 1913, in 1937 the place of the silver jubilee coronation of the last Nizam of Hyderabad –  Osman Ali Khan, Asaf Jah VII). The park is located close to railway station.
