Masirah Island

Masirah Island (Jazirat Masirah, Mazeira Island) – a sandy and rocky island in the Arabian Sea, the largest island of Oman (95 km long, 12-14 wide), with 12 thousand inhabitants in 12 villages (the main one: Ras Hilf), a Royal Air Force of Oman air base and a fish factory.
Thanks to the constant strong wind (and big waves in Southeast) in the summer season the island is a perfect spot for kitesurfers, windsurfers and surfers.
